Tradis Holdings played an active role in the wholesale interbank market for money, government securities and foreign exchange through its subsidiary Vishwin Money Brokering & Foreign Exchange Limited, an approved money broker with Central Bank of Sri Lanka , one of seven registered companies, and a registered entity with Securities and Exchange Commission. Vishwin wa divested subsequently which was divested subsequently through a successful trade sale. Vishwin was amongst the top three money brokers in the country and operated successfully in a segment that had a significant impact on the Sri Lankan economy. Through its subsidiary Vishwin, Tradis played a significant role in the Sri Lankan economy and retains that expertise and knowledge to date.

Rizly Illyas
Rizly is a successful entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in business and a well-known personality in the business circle. He is also an experienced rugby administrator and a former player, a sport with which he has an over 30-year involvement and which, incidentally, is the second most popular sport in Sri Lanka after cricket. In addition to being the Chairman of Tradis Holdings, he is the current President of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union.
Apart from his business activities and involvement in rugby administration, he has had several stints as an Advisor to Cabinet Ministers as well as State / Deputy Ministers which provided him an opportunity to understand the big picture and a deep insight into the inner workings of the government and political landscape.
As an entrepreneur, he founded the Tradis Holdings in 2000, primarily as a trading and an agency house. Subsequently, he went on to establish several business ventures that cater to the needs of Sri Lankan government, corporate, SME and as well as the fledgling eCommerce sectors.
